From his early days performing in his hometown of Chicago to predicting the 2011 Oscars live on the radio, magician Joe Diamond has made quite the name for himself and he is only in his twenties. His story began as simply as many other magicians. A magic set lead to so much more than just a box of tricks. You may recognize him as good friend and mentor of magician Bill Cook in the award-winning documentary "Make Believe". We were lucky enough to have Joe join us this week on Mystifyed Live to talk about what he has been up to.

Joe describes himself as sincere, comfortable and strange. To get an idea of the kind of person Joe is, he spoke about a reaction he got after doing his Ambitious Card routine for a couple, they simply shook his hand and said "Thank you. That made our day." It is this kind of primitive connection with his audience, that he cherishes. We would like to thank Joe for joining us this week. The sleight of hand magicians fascinate me.
